What’s up! Wow
it's surprisingly good to be on blog again. I couldn't keep up my promise to
keep this blog updated *sigh*, truly sorry for the empty promises. But I
finally have a spare time - a lot of it! I want to make this "Whats
up" as a monthly blog post, hopefully i can keep up, finger cross. Because
I love love love to write & share about my daily life, and I thought to
myself, if I enjoy it then posting one post/month wouldn't be that difficult,
right? ((positive thought))
For me posting a blog is not about "wanting to be
read", seriuosly, unless I was promoting/selling something.. The thought
of my blog will be read by my friends or other people is kinda embarassing! But
blogging for me was for my own pleasure, is like having my own
therapy. Yes, writing & reading is my type of therapy lol *Please don't
judge me as a nerd*. In other side, when I think that people (my friend
perhaps) may read this blog, although I would feel a bit shy but I keep telling
my self, It's okay. Blogging for me is like telling people "This my
life, this is what I like, this is how I enjoy my life - and you should enjoy
yours too!".
I've been trying, listening, watching, playing
many different thing since the last time I post. In my Instagram I've been
following THEGOODQUOTE. I always love a
good quote and I've been following a few instagram account that post the quote
thing but I think TheGoodQuote is the winner. It's like having a bit of tumblr
sensation on instagram, I know that nothing can beat the tumblr when it comes
to quote & "menye menye" things, but since I'm not on tumblr
anymore so following this is a nice thing. Is like having a doze of morning
sprit everytime I scroll my instagram in the morning hihi. If you're a Tumblr
person then this quote is actually taken from here -> kushandwizdom.
I'm not exactly a music person, my voice sound
so horrible & off pitch when I sing and I can't play ANY instrument, -well
actually I play classic piano for years (5 years probably) just to realize that
I'm super bad at it hahahahaha. But I'm so in love with good music and I always
feel like I'm the kinda person that always so curious about it. My love for
good song does not limited to any genre at all, from country, follks to pop rock
as long as it make me feel good than It's a good song for me. But one
thing that I wasn't actually hype about at the beginning is K-Pop songs (Well,
is not a actually a genre right?). But then nowadays I literally just found out
that there's actually some good songs/artists in Kpop industry. YES PEOPLE,
THERE IS!! What I've been listening lately is Taeyang (One of the Bigbang
member) newest album, Rise, almost all the songs are quite good.
Beside Taeyang, Bigbang itself have many good
songs & Akmu (Akdong Musician) is the talented korean artist that I've been
listening too. Whoa there are a lot of good songs in K-Pop, I'm surprise that I
was missing out much about this since it's actually famous from when I was in
high school, right. But at that time i have zero interest in korea thingy -
drama/songs, because for me they're look kinda the same and i don't understand
the lyric they were saying lol. I don't thing I'm Kpop lover/whatever they call
it because I'm not that obsessed tho, but for me good song is good song
wherever it came from.
Other
song that I may suggest you is :
John
Mayer - XO (Original song by Beyonce) - ah, I'm so addicted that I pressed
replay button too many times :(
Birdie
- Tee Shirt
Tablo
x Taeyang - Eyes, Nose, Lips (Cover)
It's just too sad that I haven't
buy any good books for holiday, I haven't read much either which is so not me.
And the most annoying thing is I haven't read John Green - The Fault in Our
Stars which is so famous and heartbreakingly beautiful (some say). But I have
watched the movie, it was... good. But I didn't cry, - just teary eyes for a
second. It's not like a sobbing cry or whatever which I expect after watching
this movie. The book that I've been dying to buy is the Veronica Roth book
(Divergent, Insurgent & Alleviant) and Love & Misadventure by Lang Leav
- I actually found this Lang Leav book in Periplus (Gramedia don't have it at
that time), but it was a bit expensive and I don't bring much many at that time
so...
Well I can't say "That's all" because
is not all at all, I still have much much to write but then Ah, it's 29 July
already I better safe it for next month post then!
Here's
the quote that I love,
"I
don't know a perfect person. I only know flawed people who are still worth
loving." - John Green.
Have
a Joyful Holiday everyone, XO
Sabrina
Putri.
