2017 : What's up November?

Do you know that based on twitter, spanish people are more likely to tweet "Te amo" in November than in any other months?  💘 

(1) My birthday!! (Not that I didn't notice that we grow less and less excited about birthday each passing year). It warms my heart to see all the wishes and surprises... I truly feel like I have the best people in life.

(2) Now I know, Taylor Swift will always tease us with the most repetitive, "what-the-heck-is-this" lead single (Shake it off? Anyone remember?). But all other songs in her new album Reputation is SO GOOD

(3) The weather sucks. In here, in my hometown, literally in everywhere this November. It has been month full of heavy rain, strong wind and cyclone.

(4) Listening to Lauv, while sipping my coffee with the soothing sound of the rain. #NovemberFeels

(5) Obsessed with stir fried water spinach and sambal now!!! (Ah elah bilang aja kangkung belacan keles).

(6) I'm transitioning from being a night owl to early bird.

Welcoming 23

At 22, most of us are trying to find our own place in this world- including me. There are many lessons in life that we can't find in our school textbooks, or in our teacher's lectures. These lessons we have to figure out all by ourself while trying to stay alive. 

(1) This year, I've seen a collective sadness in people's life. Loss of a child, Loss of loved ones, marriage issues, health problems, depression and even loneliness. Realize it or not, everybody is hurting. Everybody has their own pain to deal with. Everybody is fighting their own demon. This, somehow, motivates me to be more compassionate to others. To give more than what I can take. To be kind. Because I'm sure the world could use a little more kindness.

(2) Being financially independent is no doubt something that I'm proud of this year. But despite that, the work experience itself is truly humbling. I threw away all that I knew and learned things from scratch. I'm feeling blessed, because I know I'm not only working for the sake of corporate's profit and advantages, but also to help people improve their lives. I find it quite fascinating to be honest.

(3) People who truly love you will stay in your life, no matter what. Even when you're miles away, even if you've only got to see each other couple times in a year, even when you forget to call them or reply to their texts, even when you push them away sometimes. They understand your weird phases and they like you because you are.. just you. For that, I cherish them forever.

Happy birthday dear self, thank you for surviving another year; one hell of a crazy year. 23 has never looked so good now that I'm in it!

Beautiful Lies

Is it a human thing that we worship the idea of strangling ourselves in life's most beautiful lies? 

Believing in homes we build day and night in people we pour our trust with. 

Craving a fast love, an easy way out.

Is it because we dont want to be the one to tucked ourselves into bed?

2017 : What's up October?

I think this October has a warm vibe to it, I don't exactly know how. Life has been surprisingly good to me this month, my grateful heart is content!

1. Can I just start by saying how much I adore Epik High's "We've Done Something Wonderful" comeback album? They're so talented it gave me chills! Hard to pick a favorite but oh my god this song has been on repeat for days.

2. Mom, without you I'd be as lost as stray kittens. Happy birthday!

3. Happy anniversary to Mr & Mrs Fletcher, they're truly an inspiring couple. Couldn't help but to re-watch Tom Fletcher's heartwarming wedding speech.

4. Who doesn't love historical romance drama full of princesses, big castle and pretty dresses? Well I always do, and CW's TV series Reign will provide you that. The storyline is.. okay, not that great. Maybe I was just hypnotized by Toby Regbo's eyes.

5. Creating videos with my phone (only!) never been this easy before I know InShot. Full of tools, filters and cute stickers that I honestly just can't resist.

6. Finally bought another perfume after I completely shattered mine months ago (thank you clumsy hands). Picking a scent is tricky... and hard, at least for me. But this one has an enough amount of masculinity without being too strong.

7. Happy National Electricity Day!

8. My heart just broke after I saw this news. RIP Kim Joo Hyuk. Thank you for giving me so much laughter and happiness.
